Guide

Turn support questions into SEO and AEO content

Your support inbox already contains the questions customers care about most. This guide explains how to turn recurring widget conversations into a prioritized content backlog — KB articles, FAQ blocks, and landing outlines — using Zynli Content Opportunities instead of generic keyword spreadsheets.

Why support transcripts beat keyword spreadsheets

Keyword tools guess intent from search volume. Support conversations show what customers asked after they bought, shipped, or hit a problem — higher intent and closer to conversion blockers.

  • Repeat questions in chat reveal documentation gaps immediately
  • Escalation rate shows where KB failed before a human stepped in
  • Low-confidence RAG flags topics that need clearer source content
  • SMB teams without SEO staff can start from support truth they already have

From clusters to content backlog

Run Content Opportunities over 30–90 days. Sort by score and pick clusters with high frequency plus weak KB coverage first.

1. Run analysis

Admin starts a Content Opportunities run for your date range.

2. Review top clusters

Focus on none/weak coverage with high message volume or escalation.

3. Generate brief

Copy the Markdown brief — title, outline, FAQ, direct-answer block.

4. Publish and re-index

Add KB article or site FAQ, re-crawl sources, measure deflection in chat.

Mapping gaps to content types

  • Policy gaps → KB article (returns, shipping SLAs, billing)
  • Product confusion → FAQ block on product or checkout pages
  • Net-new topic clusters → landing page outline from brief
  • Workflow gaps → API flow or handoff rule — not always a content fix

AEO fields in briefs

Briefs include direct-answer snippets and FAQ suggestions structured for answer engines — concise factual blocks LLMs and featured snippets can cite. Pair with visible FAQ on your help center pages.

  • Direct-answer block: one paragraph that answers the cluster literally
  • FAQ items: 3–5 questions mirroring how customers phrased the ask
  • Schema hints: guidance for FAQPage markup on published pages
  • Slug suggestion: consistent URL pattern for your help center

Honest limits in v1

Content Opportunities does not connect to Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or rank tracking. It does not auto-publish. Use it to prioritize what to write — then measure deflection in Zynli analytics and repeat question rate.

Frequently asked questions

Is customer data shared outside my workspace?

Analysis runs inside your tenant with standard auth and tenancy guards. PII is redacted before LLM extraction steps. Briefs are generated per opportunity inside your workspace.

How often should we run analysis?

Monthly or after major product/policy changes is a practical cadence. v1 supports manual runs — not scheduled automation.

Do we need the Pro plan?

Yes. Content Opportunities requires Pro or Enterprise with the content_opportunities entitlement.

How is this different from Zynli analytics?

Analytics shows volume and CSAT. Content Opportunities clusters questions, scores KB gaps, and outputs publishable SEO/AEO briefs.

Will briefs help LLM and search visibility?

Briefs structure content for direct answers and FAQ schema — practices that help both traditional SEO and answer-engine citation. Publishing and indexing is still your team's step.
