What Content Opportunities analyzes
Each analysis run ingests visitor messages from a configurable date range (default: last 30 days). The pipeline clusters recurring customer questions and measures how well your tenant knowledge base answers them.
- Visitor chat messages from the embeddable widget
- Escalation rate and low-confidence RAG signals per cluster
- Frequency and repeat-question patterns over the selected period
- Tenant RAG knowledge base — not Zynli marketing pages
How KB coverage scoring works
Each question cluster receives a transparent coverage label based on RAG retrieval and gap analysis: none, weak, partial, or strong. Scoring uses your indexed KnowledgeSource content via the same askRag() path as live support.
None
No relevant KB content found — high-priority gap for new documentation.
Weak / partial
Some content exists but answers are incomplete or low-confidence in live chat.
Strong
KB covers the topic well — lower content priority unless volume is extreme.
Opportunity types and brief output
Ranked opportunities recommend a content type and generate a structured brief you can copy as Markdown.
- KB article — policy or help doc expansion
- FAQ block — short answers for product or checkout pages
- Landing page outline — net-new topic clusters with search intent
- Brief fields: title, slug suggestion, outline, FAQ items, direct-answer block, schema hints
Running an analysis
Workspace admins start a run from /content-opportunities. Analysis is async — the UI polls run status like website KB crawl jobs. Review run history and drill into individual opportunities for brief generation.
- Admin role required in v1
- Pro plan or higher entitlement (content_opportunities)
- Manual runs — scheduled analysis is not in v1
- AI token usage counts toward monthly plan limits

Frequently asked questions
What data does Content Opportunities use?
Visitor widget messages and related support signals (escalation, low-confidence RAG) for your workspace. It checks coverage against your tenant knowledge base indexed in RAG.
Does it analyze my marketing site automatically?
Only content already in your tenant KnowledgeSource corpus (website crawl targets you configured, uploads, Drive). It does not crawl arbitrary marketing URLs outside your KB setup.
How is KB coverage determined?
Clusters are checked against tenant RAG via askRag() and labeled none, weak, partial, or strong. Labels are transparent and based on retrieval quality, not black-box scores.
Can it publish content to my CMS?
No in v1. Briefs are copyable Markdown for your team to publish manually. Auto-publish and CMS connectors are out of scope.
Which plan includes Content Opportunities?
Pro ($129/mo) and Enterprise. The feature requires the content_opportunities entitlement and admin role.
